Toka Ebisu Shrine was founded in 1592. Located adjacent to the prefectural Higashi Park, the shrine grounds offer a lush green landscape. Ebisu-sama, the god of business mourning, and Daikoku-sama, the god of marriage, are enshrined here. The temple is the only one of its kind in Japan to enshrine the spirits of the Izumo Taisha Shrine. Hakata in Fukuoka City is also popular for its gourmet food, including more than 100 yatai stalls. Visitors can easily taste delicious Fukuoka food such as ramen noodles and gyoza.
